Merchandising Tips From P.L.A.Y.

Ready to Go Displays by P.L.A.Y.

Top-notch merchandising is essential to help create a great impression with customers and move product, but there’s not always enough shelf space or hours in the day to create a full display when you need to get product out on the floor. That’s why we’ve done the work for you with our ready-to-go POP displays! These displays are uniquely designed to match and showcase each of our individual toy collections. Creative Display Ideas

When you do have the time and space, it’s always fun to get creative! Pick a theme and run with it. This is great if you have a group of toys that all work together. For example, you can create a celebration theme with our Party Time toys using decorative items like streamers and non-helium balloons or colorful paper pom-poms that can be found at your local craft store. For the holidays, trim shelves with winter garlands and holiday toys.

Use Display Racks

You can also stray from only using standard pegboard walls and shelves by utilizing mobile display racks. These can be moved around as needed and allow more variety for both placement and product displayed, letting you place a group of products outside of their typical location and drawing customer attention. You can purchase an array of display racks online, or look to your vendors for them.

Our new four-sided rotating display provides easy product viewing from every angle! Made in the USA, it measures 23.6” x 23.6” x 65” when fully assembled and is an efficient way to display over 100 units of toys, allowing you to maximize your store sales!

We offer another gorgeous wooden display to showcase our Feline Frenzy Cat Toy Collection. This two-sided display with a rotating base holds the full Feline Frenzy Collection and is sized perfectly to fit on a countertop to easily drive sales.

Displaying P.L.A.Y. Chill Pads

Displaying items like our Chill Pads can be challenging. It’s most common to lay them flat, but that can make it difficult to showcase the vibrant colors and draw your customer’s attention. As an alternative, try hanging them on a rack or rolling them and placing them upright in decorative bins or baskets to make them stand out and show the full color array.

Displaying P.L.A.Y. Beds

Maximize bedding display space by color-coordinating and stacking by size. A thoughtful and clean presentation will help draw attention to and move these big-ticket items. Elevating them off the floor is also a good idea for keeping beds clean and in the line of sight.

We offer an in-store product showcase sheet that you can share with your customers so they can select a bed they may want that you don’t stock. Pairing the showcase sheet along with our swatch book of cover options can drive additional special-order bed sales without taking up more space.

Product Images for Social Media

Are you tech savvy? Utilizing sites like Facebook and Instagram are great for maintaining engagement with your customers. Take advantage of these by making new product announcements, showing off new displays, posting sale notifications, and sharing photos of your regular four-legged customers!
