Hi everyone! Prrrrrrrrt! I do a-paw-logise for the absence of updates, but life has been so hectic since I last wrote. To cut a long story short, we sold our old home and moved in with grandma and grandpa during the winter. It's only temporary though - we'll be moving into our new forever home at the end of summer.
As a fluffy little creature of comfort, this hasn't been the easiest transition for me. After my accident (read about it here), Mommy and Daddy decided that I'm no longer allowed to go outside, period. I know they're doing it to protect me, but it's hideously boring being cooped up indoors. Scratching the sofa used to be a cue for them to open the door and let me out, but this no longer works. To preserve my sanity, I sit on the staircase and swipe as hard as I can at people who go past. And I spend more time hiding in all the dark nooks and crannies in the house - Mommy and Daddy are distraught that I don't cuddle them on weekends anymore, but this will teach them to displace a cat from its home!
So that's my news. I've forgotten how cathartic it is to blog, so I promise you'll be hearing from me again soon!
