This last month, Dog-Milk got a couple of our beds for Lulu (the American Bulldog) and Beans (the Boston Terrier) to try out and review. Now, were partnering with them again for a fun photo contest give-away! Here are the details, straight from Dog-Milk.com.
Back when I got my P.L.A.Y. beds, I hinted at possibly doing a giveaway. Well, I wasn’t lyin’ — here it is! We’re giving away a medium-sized P.L.A.Y. David Collins-designed black and white Cameo bed, a $149 value!
As you know, I replaced Lulu’s dirty, dingy holey dog bed with a new P.L.A.Y. bed and that’s what we’re going to do for you, too. We’re going to give this bed to the lucky reader with the most pathetic dog bed. Does your dog sleep on the arm of your sofa? In a cardboard box? In the litter box? On an old beanbag? Send us the most disturbing, grossest, yuckiest place your dog sleeps and a sentence or two why he/she deserves a new bed.
More details about the bed: The medium size is great for dogs up to 60 lbs and measures 36″ in diameter x 4.5″ high. It is made of 100% natural cotton covering that is soft, breathable and allergy-free, filled with eco-friendly filler made from recycled plastic bottles, and machine-washable cover. The image is a repeating background with a cameo-style dog head on the top. The sides also feature a scroll detail.
Artist David Collins says about this bed, “I wanted this to be a classy, framed, side-profile silhouette of man’s best friend. With a touch of whimsy, too.”
How to enter: Email a photo of your dog’s current bed to info@dog-milk.com along with 1-3 sentences about the bed and why your dog deserves a new one. Please use the Subject: “P.L.A.Y. Cameo Bed Giveaway Entry”. Please only send one photo — make it a doozie. We will accept entries through February 18, 2011. Voting on Facebook will open on February 21, 2011 and run through February 27, 2011. The winner will be announced on Dog Milk, Dog Milk’s Facebook page, Dog Milk’s Twitter page, and P.L.A.Y.’s Facebook and Twitter on February 28, 2011.
Rules: Entries will be narrowed down to 3-5 by Dog Milk and P.L.A.Y and posted to the Dog Milk Facebook page, where our readers will vote on who deserves to get the bed. Contest is open to US residents only. There is no fee to enter or receive the bed. By entering, you grant permission to Dog Milk and P.L.A.Y to use your photo and description to promote the contest. If you win, you grant Dog Milk and P.L.A.Y permission to use your photo and description in announcements and future promotions.
